GEO150- Water Science: No Life Without It
This course looks at the basics of water, which is an absolute necessity for life. Historical, present and future use of water is explored, including the physical and chemical nature of water, water quality testing, treatment of water and waste removal. Running surface water, groundwater and water as an energy source are also explored before finishing the course with open ended discussion about the future of water as a resource.
*Students will have a choice between three texts for a book report assignment. This information and more direction is provided in the course syllabus at the onset of the course.
